Throughout our region, thousands of families are stuck in limbo, waiting for services for their children with autism. Their situation is a desperate one.

Autism is an developmental disability that affects how a person learns, communicates, and interacts socially. When a child with autism isn’t taught how to appropriately identify and express what they are feeling, the resulting behaviors can be unbearable. Severe tantrums that are inconsolable, problems with bladder control, unable to bear the touch of a loving parent, and even hitting or other forms of aggression are some of the ways a child may express their frustration.

Without quality autism services, these behaviors often worsen and become harder and harder to treat.

At Potential, we understand the despair of these families and are working diligently to help end the wait list for autism services in our region. At our center alone there are 200 children who are waiting for access to services. Many of these have been waiting for a year or more.

Regardless of the amount, your contribution to Potential will have a tremendous impact by allowing us to do three things:

· Expand the reach of our center through the addition of new sites

· Recruit and train the staff needed to expand services in both the clinic and home setting (it costs $2,500 to recruit, hire and train a new employee to provide services)

· Add specialized programs to meet the unique needs of these children

By helping us end the waitlist, you will provide these families and children with more than quality autism services. You will give them hope for a brighter future.

Sponsorship levels

Triple Crown Sponsorship- $5,000
Sponsor will receive recognition at A Night at the Derby Gala and Car Show for Autism. Company logo on event webpage, social media recognition leading up to the event, recognition in press release, full page color ad on back cover of event program and 20 tickets for gala event, includes open bar (beer & wine 5-9pm). At the Car Show, sponsors will have their logo on our event page, recognition on social media, logo at the mainstage of the event, recognized as a sponsor by our MC, listed on our event map, have the opportunity to present one of our trophies and be able to put a promotional items in our event goodie bags which are given to car owners. 

Garland of Roses Sponsorship- $2,500
Sponsor will receive recognition at A Night at the Derby and Car Show for Autism. Company logo on event webpage, social media recognition leading up to the event, recognition in press release, full page color ad on back cover of event program and 10 tickets for gala event, includes open bar (beer & wine 5-9pm). At the Car Show, sponsors will have their logo on our event page, recognition on social media, logo at the dining at the event, recognized as a sponsor by our MC, listed on our event map and be able to put a promotional items in our event goodie bags which are given to car owners. 

 Winner's Circle Sponsorship- $1,500
Sponsor will receive a half page full color ad in event program and 6 tickets for A Night at the Derby event, includes open bar (beer & wine 5-9pm). Company logo on event webpage, social media recognition leading up to the event, recognition in press release if confirmed before release and recognized at the event by the MC. 

Mint Julep Sponsorship- $1,000
Sponsor will receive a half page full color ad in event program and 4 tickets for A Night at the Derby event, includes open bar (beer & wine 5-9pm).  Company logo on event webpage, social media recognition leading up to the event, recognition in press release if confirmed before release and recognized at the event by the MC.
